Understanding various phenomena related to naturally occurring soils by applying established theories, analytical methods, and experimental techniques in a clear and comprehensible way is a fundamental goal of geotechnical engineering research. Our laboratory aims to redefine geotechnical structures and systems by integrating cutting-edge theory, analysis, and experimentation to visualize complex phenomena.
Through this approach, students can learn how to engage with geotechnical challenges from the perspective of deeply grounded understanding and emergent problem-solving. In particular, our lab places a strong emphasis on implementing research outcomes in real-world applications.
